About Us

At All Birth Care, we are committed to ensuring that every family has access to high-quality birth and postpartum support, irrespective of their background or resources. Founded by Renica, a dedicated mother who underwent the transformative journey of motherhood in 2019, our organization was established with the intention of connecting with and uplifting families during the perinatal period.

Inspired by her own experiences, Renica became a birth and postpartum doula, with a focus on supporting those who may encounter barriers to care. To address these challenges, she founded All Birth Care, emphasizing the importance of collaboration with hospitals and clinics to bridge our clients to essential healthcare services. This partnership aims to reduce adverse health outcomes, lower healthcare costs, and foster trust within the community.

Our mission encompasses providing inclusive, culturally sensitive support and education to women and their families while honoring the diverse backgrounds and unique needs of our community members. We are dedicated to empowering families through knowledge, compassionate care, and a supportive network, ultimately promoting healthier beginnings and nurturing relationships.

At All Birth Care, we strive to cultivate a welcoming environment where every family can thrive. We work diligently to ensure that comprehensive wrap-around support is accessible to all, reinforcing our commitment to the well-being of our community.

Our Why

The maternal health crisis in the United States is a significant public health issue that disproportionately affects women of color. Maternal mortality rates in the U.S. are alarmingly high, with women of color being three to four times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes compared to their white counterparts.

This crisis is rooted in a complex web of systemic racism, socioeconomic disparities, and implicit biases within the healthcare system. Women of color often face barriers to accessing quality prenatal and postpartum care, as well as a lack of culturally competent and responsive services.

As a woman of color herself, the founder of this initiative is deeply influenced by her own experiences and the experiences of her ancestors. She is committed to addressing this crisis and drawing inspiration from traditional cultural practices that emphasize holistic, community-based approaches to maternal health. Her personal connection to this issue fuels her passion to reduce negative maternal outcomes and ensure that all women, regardless of their race or socioeconomic status, have access to the care and support they need during this critical time in their lives.

Our mission is to foster a supportive and empowering environment for families by providing quality support that all deserve.

“A strong foundation built at birth not only shapes the future of a child but transforms the trajectory of generations to come, nurturing resilience, health, and hope for a brighter tomorrow.”

— Renica, Founder of All Birth Care, A Non-Profit Organization
